Copyright Information

All of the items on this site are covered by copyright law, and Cote & Cutler are members of VISCOPY. Direct reproduction of items sold on this site without the permission of the copyright holders is against the law, and royalties are payable on all reproductions through this agency.

Please don't feel that this is intended to discourage people from using our work as an inspiration to costumers and craftspeople in this field. Much of our research is freely published elsewhere for your use. You are welcome to use even our colour combinations in your own costume creations and we will be flattered, not offended!

But we do reserve the right to come down hard on anyone found purchasing our items (especially castings) solely for the purpose of taking moulds and patterns and reproducing them for sale elsewhere. Cote & Cutler Outfitters have spent a great deal of time in research and development, from studying original garments and portraits to collecting original items and working on them so that they can be cast for your use and pleasure, and it is unfair as well as illegal to deprive us of the income from this work.

If you would like to sell our items in your own store, please contact us for wholesale rates, quoting your ABN, Business Name and (if you have one) URL, subject to approval. Government educational institutions are also entitled to discounts on our wares for student stage and film productions. Please contact us for a quote.

No Sweat campaign poster.

All of C&C's designs are made in Australia without the use of sweatshop labour. While this often results in a higher price tag, we prefer to offer quality assurance on our products without harming others to get it to you.

If you'd like to know more about the importance of eradicating the sweat-shop trade, please click on the picture above.
